HOUSTON, Oct. 18, 2022 – The nonprofit Space Center Houston is advancing a Facilities Master Plan to support the growing need for space exploration learning and training in two massive structures that will also give the public a front row seat into the development of robotics, rovers, lunar landers and reduced gravity systems.
HOUSTON, Sept. 20, 2022 – Relive the journey of Expedition 66 and Crew-3 with the mission’s astronauts at 6 p.m. Oct. 13, only at Space Center Houston. This is a free event, but seating is limited. Tickets must be presented at the door for entry.
HOUSTON, Sept. 7, 2022 – Space Center Houston welcomes scientist, oceanographer, engineer and astronaut Megan McArthur, Ph.D. as the nonprofit’s first chief science officer. This new role will support strategic planning, education programs, exhibits and the guest experience. Dr. McArthur brings more than two decades of NASA experience with a new mission to develop authentic science and space exploration learning experiences for students and the general public.

HOUSTON, June 9, 2022 – Space Center Houston launches the first annual Moon2Mars Festival, presented by Wellby, Powered by JSC FCU, June 10-12. The Moon2Mars festival celebrates the future of space from the Moon to Mars. The festival will highlight cutting-edge space technologies and Friday and Saturday will culminate with an evening concert featuring performances by American Authors, Wade Bowen and Katie Toupin.
