Anyone can be a member! We only ask that the primary and secondary cardholders be 18 or older.
Membership is intended for noncommercial use by individuals and cannot be transferred. Admissions, guest passes or discounts granted as a privilege of membership can never be sold to another person or entity.

If you have visited within the past two weeks, provide a copy of both your admission ticket(s) and payment receipt to convert your purchase to a membership. Bring your receipt in person to the Guest Services Desk.
* Tickets for special events are not eligible for conversion. Onsite discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
It is not required that you specify a second cardholder name at the Dual level and above. However, at least one named cardholder on record with Space Center Houston needs to be present to take advantage of free Space Center Houston admission.
No. Memberships are non-transferable and valid only for the person(s) whose name is printed on the card. Valid identification is required for all member adults to gain free admission to Space Center Houston.
Yes, Discovery Circle members (the $450 Supporter level and higher) can request an additional membership pass for a caregiver (a grandparent or nanny, for example) who may bring your children (ages 17 and younger) to Space Center Houston.

According to IRS regulations, the amount paid for Space Center Houston membership is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, minus the fair market value of benefits for which you are eligible.

You will receive a statement of your contribution with your membership cards and welcome materials. Please keep this for your tax records.
Once you have completed your purchase, a Space Center Houston membership representative will follow up with you to discuss delivery options for your gift. Please allow at least 5-7 business days for the Gift Certificate delivery via mail. The representative will then ask you to whom and from whom it should be addressed and the mailing address you would like for us mail it to.
If you received a Gift Certificate, you can activate it over the phone, email, or in person at the Guest Services desk inside the center. Please be prepared to give your Gift Certificate number which you can find on the top right corner of the certificate. Once it has been activated, you can start enjoying your benefits right away. Please allow 2-3 weeks for printing of official cards.
Your membership cards, welcome materials and guest passes (if applicable) will arrive within approximately two to three weeks of membership enrollment. Your membership confirmation email provides you with immediate admission. If it’s been more than three weeks since your contribution and you haven’t received your membership cards, please contact us at [email protected] and include your current address and phone number.

A NASA Tram Tour boarding pass allows guests to reserve a tour boarding time to avoid standing in line and maximize time to explore. To purchase member boarding passes for the Historic Mission Control Tram Tour on our website: click Get Tickets, select the Member Reservations and Events portal, validate your membership. Bring your ticket with you to Space Center Houston and arrive at the tram hallway 10-15 minutes prior to your boarding time.
Your guest passes and welcome materials will arrive with your official membership cards about two to three weeks after your membership purchase. If you become a member in person at Space Center Houston or online, guest passes are not available that same day.
Yes, if you need to change the name(s) on your card, please contact the Membership Office at +1 281-244-2105 (9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) or [email protected]. Name(s) changes must be done within two weeks of membership purchase. Please note that we send an email to you after your purchase verifying all of the information is correct in your account. Please take this time to make cardholder or any changes. Thank you!
Space Center Houston members are not required to make a timed ticket reservation and can count on entry during all general admission hours. Scan your valid Space Center Houston membership card at the turnstile and be prepared to present valid ID and enter FREE!
Memberships may be upgraded at any time by paying the difference between the current level and the higher level. These level upgrades do not change the expiration date. Members who wish to upgrade within two months of expiration may also choose to simply renew at the higher level. Please visit us at Space Center Houston or call +1 281-244-2105 to complete a membership upgrade.
We ask that any changes to the names of card holders be made within two weeks of purchase and prior to the printing of your official cards. Contact [email protected] or 281-244-2105 for updating your membership profile.
Email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to replace your membership card. There is a $10 fee for replacement of each membership card.
Yes, please stop by the Guest Services Desk. A Crew Member will look up your member information when you present your photo ID and issue a temporary membership card for the day.
