Program recommended for students ages 11-18
Take your first steps back to the Moon with us! Immerse yourself in the excitement of the Artemis program. Middle schoolers will design rockets and solve lunar mysteries, while high school students will engineer delivery systems for lunar missions and build and launch their own model rockets. Join us to learn about NASA’s plans for lunar return and hear firsthand from an astronaut who has experienced the wonders of space travel. Get ready to be part of humanity’s next giant leap!
Itinerary
- 12:30 p.m. – Check-in begins.
- 1:10 p.m. – Welcome show in the Mission Briefing Center.
- 1:20 p.m. – Rocket Workshop begins. Different activities based on students’ age group.
- 2:20 p.m. – STEM Workshop begins.
- 3:30 p.m. – Tram Tour to NASA Johnson Space cEnter
- 4:45 p.m. – Guided Tour of Starship gallery
- 5:50 p.m. – Dinner with an Astronaut
- 6:30 p.m. – Photos with an Astronaut
- 6:45 p.m. – Checkout begins at Guest Services desk inside Space Center Houston’s main plaza. Each attendee will receive a General Admission ticket valid for one year.
- 7:30 p.m. – Program ends.
