For March 13 through March 16, all tickets to Space Center Houston are Moon 2 Mars Festival tickets. Each ticket grants the ticket holder general admission access for the day, plus the festival experience including any live musical performances and DJ sets scheduled for the day.
Interested in coming to multiple days of the festival? You’ll need a ticket for each day — or you can purchase a membership and get admission for free plus VIP perks during the event!
Space Center Houston members do not need to purchase tickets to access the festival and will enter through a members-only entrance line. Access to Moon 2 Mars is included in your membership benefits, with the number of complimentary admissions corresponding to your membership level.
During the festival, members will also have access to a special members-only lounge with activities for the whole family.

Space Center Houston’s Moon 2 Mars Festival is rain or shine! There are plenty of indoor activities and experiences to enjoy, including our entire permanent collection. We’ve got you and your crew covered!
Moon 2 Mars Festival is held during Spring Break for area school districts, which is one of our peak seasons.
You may enter Space Center Houston 15 minutes before your timed ticket or any time after.
If you wish to arrive earlier, you must call our reservations department at 281-283-4755 and ask to reschedule your entry time. However, there is no guarantee that an earlier time will be available.

Our Historic Mission Control Tram Tour is a paid tour that must be reserved online in advance. This is our most popular tour and it will likely sell out for the week of Spring Break.
Two tram tour options included in general admission, the George W.S. Abbey Rocket Park and Astronaut Training Facility tours, must be reserved on-site the day of your visit at our Guest Services desk. As some of our most popular attractions, these can also quickly sell out. We recommend all guests book their tram tours first before starting their visit.
Attending one of our live concerts? Concert seating is limited and is first-come, first-served. But there’s plenty of space on our turf lawn for you and your crew to spread out!
Want to jam in the front row for your favorite artist’s concert? Remember to purchase an early timed ticket so you can snag the best spot earlier in the day.
Yes! All exhibitions and experiences in Space Center Houston will be available during festival operating hours, including those experiences included in general admission and paid upgrades to your visit, such as simulators. Learn more about what there is to explore at Space Center Houston.
The Food Lab inside Space Center Houston will be available during the entirety of the festival. There are food options available for a variety of guests’ dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
On the festival grounds, there will be a limited-time menu featuring classic Texas barbecue!
