Understanding humanity’s greatest accomplishments in space and imagining future missions will inspire campers to become the next generation of explorers! Campers will investigate the challenges of Earth-Moon travel, participate in engineering design challenges, use robotic platforms, and explore topics including geology, rocketry, radiation, astronaut training, and lunar habitation.

In addition to an interactive, educational camp experience, every camp registration includes:
- Lunches, provided daily.
- A detailed parent guide, including drop-off and pick-up procedures, parking information, and daily logistics, will be shared with registered families prior to camp.
- A self-guided visit to Space Center Houston on Friday: One (1) complimentary camper admission ticket and one (1) complimentary adult admission ticket, including a reserved NASA Tram Tours experience.
About the program
Give your child the opportunity to discover, create and explore through hands-on STEM experiences inspired by space exploration. In partnership with Houston City College, Space Center Houston is bringing its popular Explorer Camps to more families across the Houston area, expanding access to engaging, curiosity-driven learning.
Designed for children ages 4-11, Explorer Camps inspire young explorers to think like scientists, engineers and astronauts through interactive activities that build confidence, creativity and problem-solving skills. These camps have become one of Space Center Houston’s most sought-after educational experiences, with sessions selling out each summer. This partnership helps more children experience the excitement of learning through exploration.
Please note: This camp will be hosted at HCC West Loop Campus located at 5601 West Loop South, Houston, TX 77081. Registration will be limited to 25 participants to preserve a high-quality learning experience.
