Justin Filiberto - Deputy Chief of the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) Division

Justin Filiberto is the Deputy Chief of the ARES Division and Branch Chief of ARES Research Office at the Johnson Space Center. Filiberto oversees the diverse research program and associated laboratories within the division. His work has spanned multiple planetary bodies, including Mars, Earth, Venus, and the Moon. His research has mainly focused on constraining planetary volatile budgets with implications for habitability, magma genesis conditions and timing in planetary interiors. 

Dr. Nicole Lunning - Lead OSIRIS-REx Sample Curator

Dr. Nicole Lunning is the Lead OSIRIS-REx Sample Curator within the ARES division of Johnson Space Center. Lunning started at NASA in March of 2020, shortly after returning from collecting meteorites in Antarctica as part of the 2019-2020 field team of the US-based Antarctic Search for Meteorites program (ANSMET). 

Salvador Martinez - Lead Astromaterials Curation Engineer for OSIRIS-REx

Salvador Martinez is the Lead Astromaterials Curation Engineer for OSIRIS-REx. Martinez led the development of hardware used to extract, transport and store the OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample.
