Now until Jan. 2, 2022, all memberships purchased at the Family level or higher, are eligible to gift a Dual level membership to a local educator. This includes all new, renewal*, or gift membership purchases.
Space Center Houston is among the nation’s leading science-education resources. Our programs are based on national science standards and focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to help adults and children think critically, learn about the past, present and future of America’s space flight program and build a greater understanding of the world.
The children we teach and inspire today could be among the first humans to walk on Mars. Activating STEM outside the classroom through experiential learning may be a priceless gift to a teacher working in an under-resourced environment.
After your purchase, should you wish to participate in this program, please call or email Space Center Houston’s Membership team at [email protected] or +1 281-244-2100 and provide your recommendation as to which educator, school, or district you would prefer we send the gift membership. If you do not have a teacher or school to recommend or we find that the educator is no longer actively involved in an education role, Space Center Houston will provide the gift membership to a teacher in a Title 1 school.
*Renewal purchases will be scheduled to begin at the end of your current expiration date.
