VIDEO: Thought Leader Series – Apollo 10 with astronaut Tom Stafford

Apollo 10 set the stage for Neil Armstrong’s historic steps on the Moon.

It did so with a bit of a twist, flying to the lunar rendezvous aboard Charlie Brown and coming within eight nautical miles of the Moon’s surface in Snoopy.

Find out more about this dress rehearsal mission in the April 25 installment of our ongoing Thought Leader Series from Apollo 10 commander Gen. Thomas Stafford.

Hear about the eight-day mission and how it tested all the components and procedures used by the first Moon landing in July 1969.
