1. FIFA Fan Festival™ Houston: Step Into “Esphera”
Our celebration kicks off downtown at the EaDo Festival, featuring “Esphera”—The Dome Experience, an incredible multi-sensory pavilion created in partnership with the visionary multimedia studio, Moment Factory.
Inside this custom dome, you’ll be enveloped by a five-minute cinematic masterpiece that celebrates the shared gravity of soccer and space travel. Utilizing high-fidelity spatial audio, archival footage, and authentic audio recordings from NASA’s historic Artemis II mission, Esphera is designed to inspire audiences and bridge the gap between human athletic performance and our next giant leap into the stars.

2. Explore the Lunar Surface Arena
Once you’ve experienced the magic of Esphera, head over to our main campus at Space Center Houston to test your own skills in the Lunar Surface Arena. Here, your performance on the pitch translates directly into points on the Moon across three unique interactive experiences.
The Three Lunar Activations
- 1. The Grid
- Step into a high-tech arena set directly on the surface of the Moon. As part of your essential astronaut physical training, teams face off to launch balls and target moving bonus points scattered across the court.
- 2. Lunar Obstacle Run
- Choose your country’s team and sprint across a simulated lunar landscape. Complete as many round trips as possible while dodging lunar obstacles and snatching up bonus points before the clock runs out.
- 3. ISS Fan Tracker
- Monitor your athletic success in real time. A live digital display showcases your personalized player statistics and charts your progress on a symbolic, collective “journey to the Moon.”
