Oct. 16, 1992 Space Center Houston opened its doors and committed to a mission of sharing science and space exploration with the world.
Twenty seven years later, more than a million guests get to experience space up close, to learn about Mars and the Moon and to go inside the historic Apollo Mission Control Center.
There have been changes along the way, but our mission stays the same. We are committed to being a world-class learning space, so that the first person to step foot on Mars comes through our doors first.
Join us during our birthday month and celebrate space and science with us.
