Photo Gallery: Planet Earth Celebration

Our planet is incredible. So was the turnout at our second annual Planet Earth Celebration!

Space Center Houston members joined us for a members-only Earth Day Soiree the evening of April 22, where they were treated to an evening of VIP access. This included a dinner complete with Earth-friendly options created by Wolfgang Puck Catering and mingling amongst Houston inventors and entrepreneurs who are unlocking NASA technologies that make sustainability widely accessible on Earth.

Highlights for guests included painting an Earth Day mural with Climate Fighter Paint and participating in hands-on Pop-Up Science Labs. Visitors also heard from our experts about sustainable rockets and spacecraft, met with local organizations, and recycled their electronic devices.

Thank you to everyone who joined us April 22-23 to celebrate with hands-on activities, speakers, and special tram tours.

Although Earth Day has come and gone, let’s continue to look after our incredible planet by pledging to make everyday Earth Day! Share your sustainability pledge on social media and tag #SpaceCenterHou to be featured on the center’s social media accounts.
