Space Center Houston is thrilled to unveil the official 2026 Moon 2 Mars Festival, presented Wellby Financial, poster, a stunning, limited-edition artwork created in collaboration with acclaimed Houston artist Carlos Hernandez of Burning Bones Press.
A Collaboration Born in Space City
For this year’s festival, Space Center Houston sought to create something truly special — a tangible piece of art that embodies the excitement of the Moon 2 Mars Festival while celebrating Houston’s rich artistic talent. That vision led us to Carlos Hernandez, the driving force behind Burning Bones Press.
Founded in 2010, Burning Bones Press has become a cornerstone of Houston’s printmaking scene. Hernandez is renowned for his bold designs and meticulous craftsmanship, producing limited editions of original etchings, lithographs, woodcuts, screenprints and monoprints.

This is a high-quality, exclusive print designed to be cherished. The artwork features striking imagery that fuses the wonder of space travel with the iconic Hernandez aesthetic. It represents the journey from our home planet to the red planet, while rooted in the creative heart of Houston.
