Join Space Center Houston’s Artemis Watch Party on Tuesday night, Nov. 15 (and 16), for fun activities, giveaways, and more celebrating humanity’s next giant leap. Watch the livestream of NASA’s Artemis I mission launching to the Moon. Live coverage will be broadcast in the Main Plaza. Take part in this historic day and learn about the Artemis program. The targeted launch window begins at 12:04 a.m. CST Nov. 16.
Artemis I will be the first integrated test of NASA’s deep space exploration systems: the Orion spacecraft, the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, and the ground systems at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This is the first in a series of increasingly complex missions. Artemis I is an uncrewed flight test helping to inform future missions. During this flight, the Orion spacecraft will launch on the most powerful rocket in the world, the SLS, and fly farther than any spacecraft built for humans has ever flown.
The watch party is a free, non-ticketed event, open to the public. Doors open at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.
