The STEM Academy, presented by ExxonMobil, is a hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning program for elementary and middle school students groups located in Beaumont, Texas.
This program is designed to build real-world skills through inquiry-based, project-driven activities at Space Center Houston.
Students take part in challenging STEM projects that promote critical thinking and confidence. Participants will explore engineering challenges, build and test solutions, experiment with robotics and technology, and apply scientific concepts in practical settings.
The ExxonMobil STEM Academy runs as a series of multiple sessions from February through May at Space Center Houston. Across these installments, students work through hands-on labs, engineering challenges, and technology activities.
STEM Academy welcomes all middle school student groups from the Beaumont, Texas area. The program is crafted to serve diverse learners and who want to deepen their understanding of STEM fields and expand their problem-solving abilities, plus support broad engagement in science and technology.
