Imagine yourself building the next space capsule, coding a fully autonomous rocket, or training astronauts to go to Mars. If you are looking for a career change or have recently graduated from college or trade school, we want to help you achieve your dreams!

The Accelerate Space Program is a four-month workforce development program aimed at upskilling workers to prepare them to seek and join the Houston region aerospace industry. Participants will engage in virtual training sessions, onsite workshops, mock interviews, and a job fair with aerospace companies. The sessions will cover a variety of space and business topics, including project management, digital personal branding skills, embracing uncertainty, and taking calculated risks.

Applications open on Monday, August 17, and accepted program participants will start on Thursday, October 15.

Lead Like Astronauts
Friday, September 11

Get ready to lead like an astronaut and experience a full-day immersive, NASA-inspired training for adults! Put your skills to the test in an underwater helicopter survival training, take a walk down memory lane with NASA Astronauts Megan McArthur and Mike Foreman over dinner, and enjoy Space Center Houston after-hours. Mark your calendar for our second annual Lead Like Astronauts event, Friday, September 11.

Thought Leader Series

Ignite your curiosity at our Thought Leader Series, presented by UTMB Health.

This quarterly speaker series highlights leading STEM figures whose work advances the public understanding of science and exploration. Each event includes a reception with light bites and drinks, offering an opportunity to connect with other enthusiasts.
