A Celebration of the Artemis Generation
The festival is a direct celebration of NASA’s Artemis program. For the first time in over 50 years, humanity is preparing to return to the lunar surface. Beyond simply returning humans to the lunar surface, the Artemis program focuses on establishing a sustainable presence on the moon.

One of our primary goals at Space Center Houston is to inspire the next generation of explorers. The festival’s STEM activities are designed to spark curiosity in students of all ages.
We believe that by experiencing the wonders of spaceflight through immersive technology—like The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks—young visitors will see themselves as the future scientists, engineers and pilots who will eventually take us from the lunar surface to the Red Planet.
