Galaxy Lights is a dazzling experience for everyone – and our Accessibility team is here to empower all guests during their visit, including those with special sensory needs and accommodations! The majority of Galaxy Lights light displays are outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing tailored to the weather for the evening of your visit.
The status of the evening’s event will be posted every day at 4 p.m. in the status bar at the top of this webpage to help you plan. In the event of mild rain, raincoats and umbrellas are encouraged. In the event of closure due to severe weather, guests can redeem their Galaxy Lights tickets on any other night of Galaxy Lights in 2023.
If the weather is colder than expected during your Galaxy Lights experience, the Space Center Houston Shop offers a variety of space-inspired cold-weather apparel for purchase that double as great souvenirs!

Please allocate 90 minutes to enjoy the experience. Galaxy Lights is open 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., but tickets are only available for purchase until 9 p.m. each day to help ensure guests have plenty of time to enjoy the experience.

For Galaxy Lights 2023, tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 16 at 12 p.m. CST. The price of admission to Galaxy Lights varies by day, depending on peak attendance, but prices range from $19.95 to $27.95 for guests over 3 years of age. Children age 3 or under get in free!
