Now Open, Included with General Admission
Explore our new permanent Artemis exhibit and learn about humanity’s next giant leap.
Walk through lighted panels that tell the story of Artemis, NASA’s space program that will return humans to the Moon for the first time in over 50 years. Through Artemis, we’ll see the first woman and first person of color on the lunar surface.
Discover the Artemis Program through interactive displays and hands-on activities. Touch the layers of a moonwalking spacesuit, feel the difference between an Artemis and Apollo lunar landing site, design your very own mission patch and more. You can even write down questions for an astronaut to answer!
Become your very own space explorer. Design your own lunar habitat and share your ideas of what you’d bring for a mission to the Moon.
Take a selfie with your crew among the many photo opportunities throughout the exhibit. Snap a photo under an inflatable Moon and pose for a photo inside our Orion capsule panel and more.
See how astronauts are training for Artemis missions, learn about the spacecraft that is taking us back, meet the diverse people behind the program, compare Artemis to Apollo and discover how you can be a part of the biggest group project ever – returning humans to the Moon.
Where will we go on the lunar surface? How are we going to get there? Why are we exploring? Find the answers to all your Artemis questions in our newest exhibit.
Artemis I is the first in a series of increasingly complex missions to build a long-term human presence at the Moon for decades to come.
