Chances are, you have heard of American Authors.
If not, you will probably recognize their triple platinum hit song “Best Day of My Life,” which climbed to the #11 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been featured in over 600 film trailers, TV shows, and commercials!
Zac Barnett (vocals/guitar), Dave Rublin (bass), and Matt Sanchez (drums) are American Authors. The trio met at Berklee College of Music in Boston, forming the band in 2006. They swapped Boston for Brooklyn and the rest is history.
While in Brooklyn, the band signed with Dirty Canvas Music, writing and recording “Believer,” which was initially played on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation Radio. Their next hit just happened to be the super catchy and fan favorite “Best Day of My Life” single, which got its start in a Lowes commercial!
Shortly after the release of their second hit, the group signed with Island Records. In 2016, the band got another Top 20 hit with the song “Go Big Or Go Home,” from their second full-length album, “What We Live For.”
American Authors has released four full-length albums and amassed over one billion global streams!
Their unique sound and upbeat tracks have taken them to the top of the charts. They have played awards shows and festivals, performed at legendary venues, and toured the world with other big artists like Andy Grammar, OneRepublic, OAR, and The Fray.
Now, they are headlining our first Moon2Mars Festival! Don’t miss your chance to see them perform live in Space City!
