Discover a high-tech kinetic light show; take a tram ride through lighted holiday displays on your way to the Rocket Park Experience, supported by Texas Children’s Hospital; experiment with interactive programmable light displays; and snap a stellar selfie in our photo stations.
Spike your hot cocoa and enjoy a s'more in Independence Plaza. Specialty food and beverages are available for purchase. Guests must be 21 or older with valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Catch the original film "Holidays in Space" that includes real footage of astronauts celebrating the holidays as well as interviews with retired astronauts about what it was like celebrating in space.
Chat with NASA experts and learn about their research in the Mission Briefing Center beginning at 7 p.m. NASA astronaut Dr. Don Pettit will share his knowledge of Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis as seen from the International Space Station and his photographic and video recording of the phenomena. NASA deputy element scientist Alexandra Whitmire will discuss lighting aboard the International Space Station.
