Explorer Camps for ages 6-7
Our clean room Explorer Camp experiences were inspired by NASA clean room procedures to educate our campers in an immersive way while also maintaining health and safety. In addition to immersive educational activities, campers tour inspiring Space Center Houston exhibits. Campers also watch live presentations and films and go behind the scenes at NASA Johnson Space Center.

Journey into Space
Oct. 10 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the learning labs where the space exploration journey begins. During this one-day adventure, campers learn what it takes to live and work in space. How do astronauts sleep? What happens if astronauts do not exercise? These questions and more will be answered as campers explore space through science, art, and engineering.
Junior Robotics Explorer
Oct. 24 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the learning labs to discover how things are built and what makes them work. Campers will learn about circuitry with Snap Circuits and building solutions to space exploration challenges with LEGO® WeDo Education Core Sets. All these skills come together as their robots use sensors to navigate and explore other worlds for all humankind.
Nov. 14 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the learning labs to solve engineering challenges. This one-day camp gets your little builders using LEGO® bricks like never before as they learn to problem solve space related challenges through engineering and simple robotics. Watch your camper come away inspired and ready to create!
Nov. 21 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the labs for this one-day venture to robotics. They have the opportunity to experience programming and challenges and learn how circuits work to generate electricity. Whether it is programming a robot or solving problems through code, your camper will learn the basics of robotics.
Journey to Mars
Nov. 23-25 | $164.95 3-day Explorer Camp
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the labs to discover what it takes to sustain life beyond Earth while demonstrating safety best practices. During this three-day Martian experience, campers will be immersed in activities that ignite their interest in science, along with their sense of adventure. Young engineers learn the basics of astronaut training, create a simple circuit to discover how circuits allow for energy/electricity, gain a better understanding of rocketry, discover coding, and explore hands-on science activities.
Nov. 28 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the labs and go to new and exciting places. In this one-day camp your little builders will participate in engineering challenges, solve problems and be empowered to create solutions. Campers will learn about excavating and the concept of a buoyancy test to construct their own LEGO boat.
Dec. 19 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the labs and begin the journey into all things space. Why is Venus so hot? Will people ever go to Mars? How far is it to Neptune? All these questions and more will be answered as campers explore space through astronomy, art and science. Campers leave with inquiring minds inspired to continue their journey to space.
Dec. 21-23 | $164.95 3-day Explorer Camp
All journeys start with a single step. During this three-day camp, every camper begins their journey into all things space while donning their lab coats, gloves, and masks. How do astronauts sleep in space? How do robots work? What do engineers do? All these questions and more will be answered as campers explore space through art, science, robotics and engineering activities.
Journey to Mars
Dec. 26 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the labs to understand sustaining life beyond Earth has become a new frontier. Exploring Mars and its surface will be simulated through activities that ignite curiosity. During this one-day experience, campers engage their creativity through understanding Mars topography and the usefulness of robotic exploration and explore hands-on science activities.
Dec. 28-30 | $164.95 3-day Explorer Camp
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the learning labs to find solutions to challenges that robots face when traveling to deep space. This three-day camp is designed for campers to experience the world of robotics programming and challenges. Whether it is programming a robot, building a robot or solving problems through code, campers have a blast learning the basics of robotics.
Rocket into Space
Jan. 2 | $64.95
Campers don lab coats, gloves, and masks as they head into the labs to identify the future needs of deep space travel. The Space Launch System (SLS) will send Orion and other cargo to the Moon and beyond. Campers gain an understanding of this advanced launch vehicle by designing and engineering a rocket to maximize the energy needed for launching into deep space.
