Space Center Houston gets ready to rumble! Boxing Superstars Oscar de la Hoya and Manny Pacquiao will announce their December 6 mega-fight at Space Center Houston as part of a six-city press tour on Friday, October 3 at 10am. Space Center Houston is honored to join other historic landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty in New York City and the Sears Tower in Chicago as host of the history making announcement.
The De La Hoya/Pacquiao upcoming bout is being deemed a dream match-up for sports fans and one of the biggest fights in boxing history. The 12-round, 147-pound welterweight bout is set for Saturday, Dec. 6 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View. Tickets to the Las Vegas fight on December 6 sold out in mattter of minutes with V.I.P. ringside seats fetching more than $23,000 EACH!
