School Programs

  • We engage students in hands-on, interactive sessions from multiple locations on the museum floor.

Public Programs

  • Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts camp-in at Space Center Houston!
  • Engage in exciting, hands-on activities aligned with specific badge requirements.
  • Campers ages 4-14 will have a blast with our hands on adventures.
  • Camps offered Spring Break, Winter Holiday Break and throughout the Summer.
  • High school students from around the globe compete in this one of a kind week-long engineering challenge.
  • Design multi-stage rockets and NXT robotic rovers, test your skills in our Mars Landing and Lunar Base computer simulations PLUS lots more!

Teacher Programs

  • Earn up to 24 professional development hours during this three day immersion in space exploration.
  • Appropriate for Grades K-12 - and not just for science teachers!
  • Educators attend sessions presented by Scientists, Engineers, Educators, and Astronauts.
  • Engage in classroom-tested, hands-on, interactive activities that will bring space to life for your students.
  • Access to a wide variety of NASA standards-based curricula for most grade levels and subjects (K-18)
  • Library of over 100 NASA educational videos educators may have copied to their own blank tapes
  • Information on NASA Internet resources for educators
  • FREE Open House for all Educators and earn up to 3 hours of professional development offered every September.
