How long does the second day “tour” take?
The tram tour, which takes you to Johnson Space Center, takes 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Time spent inside Space Center Houston depends on whether your group views any large-screen films and/or live shows. 3-5 hours is usually sufficient, however, we invite you to stay as long as you like!

Will my group have a tour guide?
On the evening of your event, larger groups will be broken up into groups with no more than 30 students. These groups will each have an instructor to guide them through their activities that evening after dinner. The tram tour is the only part of your second day that will be guided. Touring inside the center is completely self-guided.

Can I make reservations for a specific tram time?
All groups that have attended the Space Adventure Night will experience the tram tour on the second day visit at 9:00 a.m. The tour lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. If you would like to do all of your activities on the day of your event we will not be able to book a private tram tour for your group. If you would like to experience the tram tour, you will need to take the tram tour with the public and be subject to tram lines and times.

Do I need to make the hotel arrangements?
If we are making your hotel arrangements we book based on the amount of rooms you have requested. If you do not request arrangements to be made, then you are responsible for all arrangements.

Is the Neutral Buoyancy Lab located at Space Center Houston?
The Neutral Buoyancy Lab is not located at Space Center Houston. You will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the NBL. After your tour is set up and you have a confirmed time, meet your tour guide at the Information Desk at Space Center Houston no later than 30 minutes before your tour begins to allow for travel time. Click here on more information on the NBL.

When and where can I redeem my meal tickets?
Meal tickets need to be redeemed at the Launch Foods counter before 3pm in the Zero-G Diner.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of people that can attend the Overnight Program?
The maximum number of people that can attend an Overnight is 250 people. If there is not already a group booked on a date that you are interested in, there is a minimum of 20 people required to open the event.

What does an International Night include?
If you have chosen your Space After Dark event for one of the dates we have advertised and your group fits our requirements in terms of group size and age, your students will have the opportunity to work alongside students in India via web conference.  Because of this addition, the schedule your group will follow will differ from the typical schedule.



When do we know what hotel we will be staying at?
As soon as your hotel registration has been received, we will put in a reservation request with a hotel. Because it will take longer to process the hotel information, you will receive a separate confirmation with information about the hotel that has been booked for your group.

Do you provide breakfast for our group?
We do not provide breakfast. You may contact your hotel to determine if breakfast arrangements are offered.
