The Girl Scout camp-ins are designed to meet all the essential components of the Brownie Try-it, Junior Aerospace, and the Cadette Space Exploration Merit Badges.

Prices:
$55 Scout
$25 Adult within 1:4 ratio
$55 Adults over 1:4 ratio

 

Senior/ Cadettes: The Camp-ins meets all the essential components of the Senior/Cadette Space Exploration merit badge. The Seniors and Cadettes will go on a scavenger hunt to discover the history of spaceflight, build and launch a rocket, design and construct a Martian base, learn how to teach a night sky activity to younger scouts, and view a large screen film in our Northrop Grumman Theater.

Brownies: The Camp-ins meet the essential components of the Brownie Space Try-It Merit Badge. Brownies will learn about and design a model spacesuit, learn about the constellations, build and launch a basic rocket, take home their own mini solar system, and view a large screen film in our Northrop Grumman Theater.

Juniors: The Camp-in meets the essential components of the Junior Aerospace Merit Badge. Juniors will construct and fly a shuttle glider, design a spacecraft for a specific mission, discover what the astronauts eat, design a protective spacesuit for a shuttle astronaut, and view a large screen film in our Northrop Grumman Theater.

Start Time (all dates): Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. Program starts at 6:00 p.m. (SHARP)

End Time: Next day at 8:45 a.m. At this time you may depart Space Center Houston or take the tram tour to NASA and continue to visit Space Center Houston for the day.
