ROCKETS GALORE DAY – DECEMBER 9, 2009

Your students can build and launch their very own rockets, right here at Space Center Houston!
Elementary Students - Build and launch Air Rockets
Middle School and High School - Build and launch Water Bottle Rockets
Science Demonstrations by Radical Rhonda - Come learn the science behind Rocket Science with Rad Rhonda.
School Bus Tram and live Rocket Launch - Hop aboard the Discount Tire School Bus Tram to Rocket Park and , as an added bonus today, view a 4 foot rocket launch over 1,000 feet!

- Students and chaperones will receive a discounted admission of $9.95/person with minimum order of 15 tickets if ordered and paid for one week in advance.
- Reservations made less than one week in advance can still get a discounted admission of $11.95/person with a minimum order of 15 tickets.
- All groups will get one FREE ticket for each complete set of 15 tickets purchased.

Awards Announcement

The Pete Conrad Spirit of Innovation Awards combine education, innovation and entrepreneurship by challenging high school students to design products using science and technology. The competition includes platforms in personal spaceflight, lunar exploration and renewable energy. Teams will compete for over $120,000 of prize money as well as the opportunities to connect with leading scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs. The awards create a long term community for students and teachers and provides resources and opportunities to develop and incubate commercial products.
